I guess I got purged due to lack of involvement.
Yeah there is a post about this in the announcements section, but basically there was a planned upgrade that the hosting provider jumped the gun on and did before I was ready... meaning that when there were issues I had no backup or anything to fall back on and had no choice but to wipe everything out and start over.
